In an IT company, a team of 10 employees has to work for long hours. As they have been assigned orders from global clients so the team has to work round the clock, sometimes even they have to make and receive calls at 2 am with overseas clients. These hours are somewhat tiring and demotivating for the team. As a result, four members of the team are thinking to join the rival organization. There might be possibilities that they want salary raise, but the organization has some budget constraint and according to that, the organization can only afford to give a salary raise to two employees. In order to handle this situation, the management team has the responsibilities to motivate their team members by using their skills. Some of the skills, which are required to deal with such situations, are described below in detail.

Interpersonal Skills

Interpersonal skills are the skills, which are required by the management team use every day when they communicate and interact with other people individually or in meetings. Self-management skills are those characteristics that help the representative feel and be more profitable in the workplace. Skills such as critical thinking, time management, strengthening memory, communicating clearly, problem-solving etc. are the key elements of self-management skills. These skills can help the management team to handle the problems of team members.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a key element for the maintenance of the company since it presents how the employees must manage the clients and provide a methodology to develop a better connection with the clients. When creating a relationship with a client, a management plan is essential in order to characterize the direct representatives and techniques to handle customer requests or and specific complaints in an easy manner. With this management plan, clients will be assured that their project will not get affected by the demotivated team members.

Computation Thinking

Computational Thinking (CT) is a critical thinking process that includes several attributes, such as legitimate demand and the analyze information and make the findings using the progress of the calculations requested and attitudes, for example, the capacity of multiple nature management not questioned and open problem. This skill can help the management team to analyze the situation and its solution more effectively.

Critical Thinking

While, the critical thinking is the procedure of mentally taught of conceptualization, application, breakdown, synthesizing or effective and skillful potential evaluation of data collected or created by perception, experience, reflection, thought or communication as a proper guide to belief and action. With the help of such skills, the management team can handle the difficult situation in a quick manner.
