The production system is that function of a company which is responsible for the production of different goods and services. For example in the manufacturing sector the customers are not involved in the production of the products and the products are tangible in a form which can be touched, seen or felt with senses. Whereas the services can be produced and delivered when the customers are present there. Unlike the products the services cannot be stored for future use, instead, they have to created and used by the customers there and then.
