- EXPRESS GRATITUDE
Many studies have shown the benefits of expressing gratitude for what you have. Gratitude should be expressed to kick start the day. There are myriads of benefits of doing so. Some of the most prominent are, a sense of well-being, a better immune system, a more positive outlook on life, more energy and better relationships with others.
If you take a few moments in the morning to write down what you feel grateful for, you will pave a way for a positive and satisfying day that will unfold before your eyes. Positive affirmations simply mean writing or saying a sentence that gives strength. Something like "I can do what I propose" or "I love myself" is a positive affirmation. Of course, you can make the phrase fit your personal preferences and beliefs, but just make sure you have time to repeat this phrase a few times in the morning. You can also remember the phrase throughout the day to keep it fresh in your memory and keep the energy flowing. It is similar to practicing for the essay writing work. Nothing feels better than getting out of bed in the morning and loosening those tense muscles and joints. Taking out just five minutes in the morning to make your body more agile and ready for the day can set the stage for your work day or school, plus stretching exercises keep your body healthy and your mind sharp. In the mornings, we tend to take something quick and easy for breakfast, so that we can go out the door and start our hectic and busy day. However, you can still have an easy breakfast with just a little more effort doing something yourself. In this way, you will know exactly what is included in your breakfast, you will save money, and in addition, something you do at home usually: you will have more nutrition than fast food or something similar. All you need for a smoothie is your favorite fruits and vegetables, a little water or vegetable milk, and a blender.
It may take a bit of work to chop or peel fruits/vegetables, but you will have a healthy and nutritious breakfast that you can take with you, and it will give you energy for your day.
In our society of serious and focused on productivity and consumption, sometimes we forget to laugh in the middle of everything. Laughter keeps us healthy, stimulates our immune system and simply gives us more energy to move forward in life. Laughter also helps us connect with others, so when you start the day, remember to laugh. Watch a funny video on YouTube, play with your kids for a while or make a funny face in the mirror. Do whatever it takes to laugh, because how can you have a bad day if it starts with laughter?
